International Advisory, Products and Systems (i-APS) is a woman-owned and managed consulting firm that leverages global expertise with local presence to transform organizations and communities into partners for change. The applications have been designed in response to challenges and needs the teams have faced when conducting research, TPM, evaluation, capacity assessment and development work in over 21 countries around the world. i-APS Sudan is part of i-APS global network of offices, with active registrations in 11 countries. Registered in July 2022, i-APS Sudan employs Sudanese staff with technical expertise and capabilities in monitoring, evaluation and learning, organizational capacity building, and third-party monitoring across humanitarian sectors. Together, we will embark on a journey of transformative growth, making a lasting difference in the lives of all those we serve (For more information about i-APS see: www.i-APS.com.) i-APS Sudan is looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work with it for the time-limited and project-based positions for the Survey Manager in each of the following states: Khartoum, River Nile State, Red Sea State, North Kordofan State, West Kordofan State, State White Nile, Gezira State, Sennar State, and Blue Nile State:

Required Experience

1. lead the day-to-day running of survey management tasks and management of survey projects.
2. take ownership of the survey lifecycle – this includes things like scoping, costing, and project management.
3. develop optimal surveys – this includes understanding user requirements to develop and adapt surveys using survey design techniques
4. maintain and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
5. manipulating, disseminating and presenting data using appropriate tools
6. Participate in the project budgets development, especially in relation to the costs associated with field activities.
7. collecting any technical issues with data collection programs that data collectors may have and figuring out the best way to solve them.
8. Creating and following a fieldwork schedule.
9. Perform any more duties given to him by his direct manager.
10. Communication skills. Surveyors must provide clear instructions to team members, Clients, and government officials.

14. Visualization skills

Desirable Experience

• Have at least a BSc in a field such as statistics, social sciences, economics, gender studies, agricultural sciences, mathematics, psychology or any related field (Essential)
• At least three years of experience in conducting interviews and focus groups to collect data from respondents (Essential)
• Experiences with software for data collection such as Kobo (highly desired)
• The candidate must be a resident of the concerned state (Essential)
• Experiences in writing up field reports (KII, FGDs, MSC) (Essential)
