Team Leader, Third-party Monitoring (TPM)

Zienab Anwar is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research expert with ten years of progressing experience within the multisectoral response. Zienab has over six years of experience working at the senior management level, with Plan International and Terre des Hommes, where she led diverse national and regional teams on MEAL activities in various sectors such as humanitarian response to displacement, emergency response to the Syrian and Sudanese crisis, protection, education, and women empowerment with a track record on impact and process evaluation in the public sector domain and in International Non-Governmental Organizations. Zienab has a master's degree from the Atkinson School of Management, USA, with a focus on nonprofit management. Zienab is a published researcher with a track record of publications with globally acclaimed think tanks. Throughout her career, Zienab has led more than 30 evaluation and research studies, embraced a mixed methodology approach, and utilized longitudinal randomized control trial methodology (RCT). Within i-APS, Zienab currently serves as OCHA Third-party Monitoring (TPM) Activity Team Leader, overseeing third-party monitoring activities and team of over 20 technical experts and over 149 field researchers.
