Regional Program Manager
Chiara Carli is a seasoned humanitarian and development professional with over 20 years of experience across diverse contexts in South East Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the Balkans, and Italy. Holding a Master of Science in Management of Rural Development from SOAS, University of London, Chiara brings a wealth of expertise in coordinating and managing large-scale activities and projects.
As the Regional Manager for i-APS Global, she has a proven track record in managing Long Term Agreements and associated task orders with key UN agencies such as WFP, UNICEF, and UNFPA. Chiara's experience extends to collaborations with International NGOs, UN agencies, governments, and local associations, encompassing a wide range of donor-funded programs and providing her with a comprehensive understanding of program development and implementation.
Her technical expertise spans critical areas including food security, sustainable rural development, humanitarian aid, and social protection. In her role as i-APS Global Senior Program Manager, Chiara oversees the operational, technical, and management aspects of work, cultivates client and partner relationships, drives cost-saving initiatives, and provides training and mentorship to i-APS and partner staff. Currently, she manages multiple LTAs with WFP (overseeing 8 regional task orders for Egypt, Uganda, Mali, Türkiye, and Cambodia) and UNICEF and UN OCHA LTAs for Yemen, including numerous Third-Party Monitoring activities with humanitarian organizations.
