Country Manager and Representative for Mali
Aboubacar is a seasoned international development expert with a strong background in community resilience, peacebuilding, and consolidation projects. He holds a Master's degree in Anthropology from Bamako University of Legal and Political Sciences and has over 12 years of professional experience in governance, security, and development policy analysis in Mali.
As a Field Manager and Deputy Coordinator, Aboubacar has played a key role in planning, developing strategies, and evaluating peace and stabilization processes in crisis-affected contexts. His expertise in technical mediation has been instrumental in fostering constructive dialogue and building trust among stakeholders.
In his current role as Country Representative and Country-in-Charge for i-APS Mali, Aboubacar is responsible for leading the team, ensuring the quality of program design and development, and representing i-APS in the country. His experience and skills make him well-suited to drive i-APS's peacebuilding and development initiatives in Mali.
